Sudesh Roman, The Magic Entertainer of the Benelux
In 1989, a young Sudesh Roman discovered the magic of the impossible for the very first time. What began as a playful fascination grew over the years into a lifelong calling. After more than fifteen years of study, practice and passion, he took the definitive step onto the professional stage in 2006.
His career spans milestones that few entertainers can match. In 2008 he brought his first major theatre show ‘MindPlayer’ to the stage — a spellbinding hypnosis show that left audiences speechless. In 2010 he proved his exceptional talent to an audience of millions as a finalist of the SBS6 programme ‘De Nieuwe Uri Geller’. That same year he joined Attractie- en Vakantiepark Slagharen, where he performed hundreds of shows as Magician in the American Show and the Circus Theater — two full seasons, every single day.
From 2013 to 2015 he played the role of master magician in ‘De Magische Winkel’ (The Magic Shop), a popular children’s television programme — three unforgettable seasons for a new generation of fans. From 2017 to 2020 Sudesh was one of the resident magicians at De Efteling, the Netherlands’ most visited theme park. Simultaneously, in 2018 and 2019, he performed in the theatre with ‘Beyond Illusions’. In 2022 he reached his thousandth professional show — a milestone few artists ever achieve. In 2024 and 2025 he performed at Bobbejaanland. Today, Sudesh Roman is one of the most sought-after entertainment artists in the Benelux.
