Young talent with prizes
De Bruyn discovered his passion for magic at a young age. Since the age of fourteen he has won numerous prizes, starting with the Flemish and Belgian magic championships, both in close-up with his table magic and with his stage shows.
After reaching the final of Belgium's Got Talent in 2021, he was crowned Belgian Champion of Magic in 2022. That same year he first performed his theatre show 'Ik Wij Jij' at the sold-out cultural centre De Plomblom in Ninove.
International and business work
Since then he has built an international reputation with performances in cities such as Paris, Amsterdam, London, Prague, Berlin and New York, with shows in Dutch, French and English. His work rests on two pillars: walk-around and table magic, and larger stage shows and event hostings.
In 2019 he founded his own entertainment company, JDB Creative Magic, with which he specialises in bespoke shows that combine branding and storytelling.
Consultant and speaker
De Bruyn regularly works as a consultant for television and film productions, including programmes on VTM and VRT, where he helps develop creative concepts and challenges, such as for De Code van Coppens.
He also gives trainings and keynotes on performance, leadership and communication, using magic as a metaphor. He combined his artistic work with a degree in commercial sciences at Ghent University.
Jonas De Bruyn proved that the young generation is carrying Belgian magic to the world and into the business world. You will recognise that same combination of craftsmanship and entrepreneurship in the work of Sudesh Roman.
